The Galway tourist information office is a 1 minute walk from the hostel. This is located on Forster st… Follow this street towards Eyre Square and you will see the hostel just beside the bus and train station.
Directions from airport
Galway has an international airport located 5 miles form the city centre. There is no bus service available from the airport to the city centre but there is a taxi rank just outside the arrivals terminal to take passengers to the city centre. Car Hire Galway Airport
Directions by road
From the main dual carriageway leading into Galway from Dublin/Cork/kerry, at the first roundabout, take the 1st exit with the sign ‘Galway City East’. Go through the next set of traffic lights and go straight through the next roundabout. Go straight through the next 3 sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout beside the ‘Huntsman Bar’, take the first exit leading towards the city centre. Keep straight through the next set of traffic lights continuing onto college rd. This road leads straight into Eyre Square in the City Centre. Keep straight and take the left turn directly before the bus and train station.
